Financial Services Guide
This Financial Services Guide (FSG) describes the financial services offered by Kalkine Pty Ltd ABN 34 154 808 312 Australian Financial Services Licence Number 425376, and the customer service support centre, and is designed to assist you in deciding whether to use those services. It explains who we are, how we can be contacted, the financial services we are authorised to provide, how our staff are paid and how you can make a complaint.
We give you the FSG when you subscribe to our financial product research service.
We act for you when giving general advice on financial products. We provide research in the following areas:
· Foreign exchange contracts
· Debentures, stocks or bonds issued or proposed to be issued by a government
· Interests in a managed investment scheme including investor directed portfolio services
Our research is also delivered through our newsletters, e-letters or our website.
The customer service support centre has been appointed by Kalkine as an authorised representative to provide general advice on the products outlined above.
How do we get paid?
Kalkine charges you an annual subscription fee when you subscribe to one of our research services. Our subscription fees range from $599 to $3,000 incl. GST per annum depending on the service you select.
Who we pay?
All employees and directors of Kalkine and our customer support call centre receive a salary. They may also be eligible to receive performance based bonuses if they meet a pre-set agreed performance indicator. Kalkine also pays the customer support call centre staff, including sales and marketing staff a commission calculated as a percentage of the subscription services they sell.
You can ask for more information about our remuneration within a reasonable period after receiving this FSG and before we provide you with any financial services.
What to do if you have a complaint?
If you have a complaint or concern about us, our customer support call centre or our subscription services, contact us on + 61 2 8667 3147 or email email@example.com. If you are unhappy with our decision, you may refer your dispute to the Financial Ombudsman Service (FOS). There is no charge for this service, and a decision of FOS is binding on us but not on you. You can contact FOS by calling 1800 367 287.
Professional indemnity insurance
Kalkine Pty Ltd and the customer service support centre are covered by professional indemnity insurance that complies with section 912B of the Corporations Act 2001. The insurance (subject to its terms and conditions) will continue to cover claims in relation to our respective employees who no longer work for us (but who did at the time of the relevant conduct).
